I would not recommend this for the Audi DIYer

The volume is a little lower over the radio than I would like but other than that it has worked great for the last month.

Review by Benjamin H. Rice for UIF-US80 AUDI SCAN TOOL Rating: I got this to check the codes on my 2005 A4 and 2000 WV Golf. It displays the codes by date and the back of the manual has all their causes.

Unfortunately the manual is completely useless in explaining how to get your codes. When I plugged it in, nothing matched what the manual said I should be seeing. It references buttons that aren't even on the device! After some trial and error I was able to display the codes from my check engine, but no thanks to the instructions.

The connection b/n one of the wires and the plug, where a small board connects the wires to the pins, broke. Soldered, worked a bit, now it is broken again. Tried to fix a second time only to fry the fuse. Not happy with how long it lasted.

Never had a problem with it in the month or so that I have had it.

Review by wrbtu for GARMIN 010-10747-03 12-Volt Adapter Cable Rating: I have now used this adapter less than 20 times, & like the Garmin adapter than came with the GPS, this one also lacks durability- it's now broken; the Garmin adapter had broken after about the same number of uses. Neither adapter was misused or dropped, they broke after normal use. I know that the car's adapter plug is not the problem, because other adapters (like cell phone) do work in this car. Now I'm looking for another adapter, this time one that is neither Garmin nor Gilsson, & hopefully my third adapter will be one that lasts longer than either of these two! Although well-constructed of sturdier materials, easier to grip & a better fit with the adapter plug than the original adapter made by Garmin, my revised rating for this product would be 1*, simply because it's not worth the money for a product that has lasted such a short time.

Rating: I had been using Meguiar's NXT Generation car wash for years and liked it quite a lot but since Amazon.com didn't carry it in the 64oz. size I switched to this product. It works well, drying clean and not leaving spots because it rinses clean. It produces a whole lot of suds which help to lift and carry dirt away, and it smells pretty good too. I did have a hard time with the little yellow and brown bug turds (I guess that's what they are) but it was the same story with the other brand so no points off. Price is reasonable. I was actually apprehensive about this item since I don't normally have a lot of faith in Turtle Wax products, but that went out the window.
